Although all eyes today were on the inauguration of Donald Trump as 47th President of the United States, earlier this month, on January 2nd, it was Puerto Rico’s Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon who was getting the attention as she was inaugurated Governor of the U.S. territory. A former Resident Commissioner for Puerto Rico in the U.S. Congress, Governor Gonzalez-Colon’s former colleagues shared congratulations on her inauguration:
